A teenager's life is disrupted when they become embroiled in an ancient struggle between the Autobots and Decepticons, two rival factions from the planet Cybertron, as they fight for dominance.

A high school student purchases his first car, unaware it's actually the Autobot Bumblebee. Bumblebee protects the student and his girlfriend from the Decepticon Barricade, before other Autobots arrive on Earth in search of the powerful Allspark.
