Biography

Here is the rewritten biography:

Charles Adler is a multi-talented individual with an impressive array of accomplishments in the entertainment industry. As an Emmy Award-winning Dialogue Director, Annie Award-nominated actor, and Dramalogue-winning actor, he has made a name for himself in various genres, from comedy to drama.

With a wide range of credits to his name, Adler has lent his talents to numerous projects, including the remake of "The Nutty Professor," starring Jerry Lewis, and the Emmy-nominated series "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack" on Cartoon Network. He has also worked on the dark and dramatic "Dante's Inferno" and the family film "The Blue Elephant," featuring Carl Reiner and Martin Short.

In addition to his work as a Dialogue Director, Adler has also had success as a Voice Director, with credits including the long-form action-adventure series "FireBreather" for Cartoon Network, which broke all records for its time slot. He has also worked on various Adult Comedy pilots for Fox, MTV, and Adult Swim Television, as well as the hit preschool show "Bubble Guppies" for NICK Jr.

As a Voice Actor, Adler has played a wide range of characters, including series regulars in over 100 animated series. He has been nominated for an Annie Award for his multiple roles as Cow, Chicken, and the Red Guy in the Emmy-nominated series "Cow and Chicken." Adler has also voiced characters in various other shows, including "I.M. Weasel," "Jem," and "Marvel Super Hero Squad."

In addition to his work in animation, Adler has also appeared on stage, starring on Broadway in "Torch Song Trilogy" and touring in the First National Company, which earned him a Helen Hayes Award nomination. Off-Broadway, Adler co-starred in the hit show "Family Business" and appeared in various other productions, including "Once Upon a Mattress," "God's Favorite," and "Zoo Story."

As a writer, Adler has co-written episodes of "Steven Spielberg's Tiny Toon Adventures" and his critically acclaimed One-Man Show, "There Used to Be Fireflies," which won him a Dramalogue Award for Best Actor. He has also written and directed his own independent live-action film, "No Prom for Cindy," which has been adopted by San Francisco State University's Film Department as part of their curriculum.

Throughout his career, Adler has received numerous awards and nominations for his work, including being named one of the "Top 13 All-Time Voice-Over Artists" by Animation Magazine and "Voice of the Decade" by Animation World News.
