DEA agent Shane Tanner goes undercover in New York but is drawn back to his hometown of Tyree, Louisiana when his uncle Nate is attacked for refusing to sell his bar, the Black Pelican. Shane decides to run the bar and investigate who is behind the attack, but he faces opposition from former cooler Bill "Wild Bill" Decarie who wants to buy the bar. Shane's past is also revealed as he searches for answers about his father's murder, which occurred years ago.
