Clébia Sousa was born in Limoeiro, a rural town nestled in the state of Pernambuco, where she spent her formative years, crafting the foundation of her identity. As the daughter of Maria José de Sousa Silva and José Amaro da Silva, she is the middle child, sandwiched between an older brother, Cleiton, and the gentle guidance of her parents. Her mother, a skilled hairdresser, dedicated herself to providing for her children, working tirelessly to ensure their well-being. Conversely, her father, a man of intellect and discipline, possessed a degree in Mathematics and served as both a teacher and a police officer, instilling in Clébia the importance of education and responsibility.
Throughout her childhood, Clébia's educational journey was marked by a series of transitions. Initially, she attended the Cecília Meireles school, where she spent her early years, laying the groundwork for her future endeavors. As she progressed, she transferred to the Cônego Fernando Passos school, where she first discovered her passion for the performing arts. In Limoeiro, she found solace in the Lionarte de Teatro group, a creative outlet that allowed her to express herself and hone her craft.
At the tender age of 19, Clébia made the bold decision to leave her hometown and relocate to Recife, the capital of Pernambuco, to pursue her dreams. She enrolled in the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE),where she studied Artistic Expression and Performing Arts. This move proved to be a pivotal moment in her life, as it led to her selection for the film "O Som ao Redor", the inaugural feature film by renowned filmmaker Kleber Mendonça Filho. In this critically acclaimed production, Clébia portrayed the character of Luciene, a role that marked the beginning of her illustrious career in the film industry. Since then, she has appeared in over twenty film productions, solidifying her position as a talented and versatile actress.
