In the isolated Brazilian town of Bacurau, the death of a respected elder sparks a series of bizarre and ominous events. As the villagers struggle to come to terms with their loss, they face a multitude of inexplicable challenges, including a severed water supply, wild animals roaming the streets, and the sudden appearance of empty coffins. When the town disappears from satellite maps, the residents of Bacurau must band together to confront an unknown threat and fight for their very survival.
