In a thrilling adventure, a youthful silver dragon, a sagacious mountain spirit, and a courageous orphaned boy join forces to conquer the perilous Himalayas and uncover the secrets of the mystical Rim of Heaven.

A young silver dragon named Firedrake embarks on a journey to find the "Rim of Heaven", the dragons' mysterious haven, to prove himself to the older generations. He's joined by a forest brownie named Sorrel and an orphan and stray named Ben, who claims to be a dragon rider. Together, they face challenges and danger as they're hunted by Nettlebrand, an evil dragon-eating monster created by an alchemist.
