After a centuries-long war, the humans of the Twelve Colonies are on the brink of a peace treaty with the Cylon Empire. However, the Cylons suddenly betray the agreement and destroy the Colonies, leaving only the Battlestar Galactica and its survivors. Commander Adama leads the remaining humans on a perilous journey to find the mythical planet Earth, but they must first replenish their supplies and fuel on the planet Carillon.
