The Silence of the Lambs

FBI trainee Clarice Starling aspires to work in the Behavioral Science Unit, despite her West Virginia roots, which she keeps hidden to avoid being judged. She's assigned to interview imprisoned serial killer Dr. Hannibal Lecter, who's imprisoned for eight years, to help solve the "Buffalo Bill" case, which involves the murder of five young women. Clarice must navigate Lecter's cryptic clues and decide how much to reveal emotionally to him, as he requests in return for talking to him. As the case unfolds, a potential seventh victim is discovered, and the stakes are raised with the involvement of a high-profile family.
