Thirteen years after the original, RoboCop, now considered the "Safest Place On Earth", has become a futuristic city owned by OCP. RoboCop, Alex Murphy, feels obsolete and struggles with his son, an OCP executive, unaware of his father's existence. Murphy's partner, John Cable, returns as Security Commander, and they investigate the Bone Machine, unknowingly approaching an evil group of OCP executives, The Trust, which includes Murphy's son.
