Biography

Anthony J. Mifsud, professionally known as Mif, is a multifaceted individual born on the island of Malta and raised in Toronto. He is a true renaissance man, showcasing his diverse talents through his various achievements.

Mif's initial claim to fame came as the lead vocalist and frontman for the internationally renowned Canadian rock band Slash Puppet, from 1989 to 1995. During his time with the band, he honed his skills and confidence as a performer, becoming a respected force in the Canadian music scene. Slash Puppet released two international records, including the self-titled "Slash Puppet" in 1993 and the critically acclaimed "No Strings Attached" in 2007, which received praise from several hard rock and heavy metal fanzines worldwide, ranking #7 on Sleaze Roxx's "Top 10 Best" releases of 2007.

In addition to his music career, Mif is also an accomplished actor, appearing in numerous film and television productions since 1995. He has shared the screen with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Gina Gershon, Ryan Reynolds, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Kate Hudson, and Norm MacDonald, in films such as "Just Business," "Foolproof," "Eye See You," "Detention," "Gossip," and "Dirty Work."

Mif has also made notable appearances on television, including a recurring role as the "Greek Delivery Man" in the third and final season of the Netflix Original Series "Hemlock Grove," and a recurring role as "Dr. Necros" on the hit Disney TV show "Aaron Stone," which debuted to record ratings in 2009. He has also appeared on popular shows such as "Warehouse 13," "Queer As Folk," "This Is Wonderland," "John Woo's Once A Thief," "Due South," "Psi Factor," "FX: The Series," "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues," and "Relic Hunter."

As a voice artist and broadcaster, Mif's voice has been featured on several radio and television programs, as well as commercial spots across North America, promoting products for sponsors such as Bell, Hewlett Packard, Sony, Ford, General Motors, Canada Post, Molson's, and Kellogg. His writing and editorial credits include several local sport publications and national magazines such as Fresh, Canadian Musician, M.E.A.T. Magazine, Inside Soccer, and The Soccer News.
