Phantoms

In the isolated ski resort village of the Rocky Mountains, a series of inexplicable disappearances has left the residents in a state of panic. Two sisters, determined to uncover the truth, initially suspect a serial killer is on the loose. However, their investigation reveals no signs of struggle, no blood, and no apparent motive, leading them to question the possibility of a single killer claiming the lives of everyone in town. Their search for answers leads them to a seasoned sheriff, a former FBI agent, who seeks backup and consults with an expert academic. The academic proposes a chilling theory: the town has fallen prey to the Ancient Enemy, a mysterious force responsible for the downfall of civilizations throughout history, including those of the Mayans and the Roanoke Island colonists.
