In this action-packed thriller, a young police officer in Los Angeles is paired with a seasoned veteran at the California Highway Patrol, only to uncover that his partner is a federal agent tracking a massive heist that may involve corrupt law enforcement.

An undercover FBI agent assumes the role of Officer Frank "Ponch" Poncherello with the California Highway Patrol to investigate a string of cash delivery heists. He's paired with a rookie, Jon Baker, a former motorcycle rider struggling with health issues and personal demons, and their vastly different personalities lead to instant friction.
