Biography

Dax Randall Shepard, a renowned personality, was born in the year 1975, specifically in Milford, a charming suburb of Detroit, Michigan. His mother, Laura (LaBo),was employed by General Motors, while his father, Dave Robert Shepard, Sr., was a skilled car salesman. Interestingly, his mother hails from a French-Canadian and Belgian descent, which significantly influenced his early interests. Growing up with parents working in the automotive industry, Dax's initial passion was, indeed, cars.

As he grew older, Dax attended Walled Lake Central High School, graduating in 1993. He then relocated to California in 1995, where he pursued higher education. In 1999, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),graduating with honors. During his time at UCLA, Dax honed his skills in improv and sketch comedy by training at The Groundlings Theater.

After an arduous eight-year period of auditioning, Dax finally landed his first paid acting role in the popular television show, Punk'd. This marked a significant milestone in his acting career.

In his personal life, Dax is married to the talented actress Kristen Bell, with whom he shares two delightful children.
