Blow

The 1970s saw a pivotal alliance between George Jung and the Medellín Cartel, spearheaded by Pablo Escobar, which revolutionized the US cocaine market, leaving a lasting legacy on the nation's drug trade.

George Jung, a young boy from a struggling family in the 1950s, witnesses his parents' financial struggles firsthand. His father's inability to provide for the family ultimately leads to bankruptcy. Determined to avoid a similar fate, George turns to dealing marijuana in the 1960s, thanks to his friend Tuna's suggestion. He quickly becomes successful in California, but a stint in jail exposes him to the world of cocaine. Upon release, George seizes the opportunity to smuggle cocaine into America, amassing a fortune. However, his newfound wealth ultimately comes at a great cost.
