The Roman Tribune travels to Judea to unravel the mystery of Jesus Christ's disappearance, whose alleged resurrection has sparked widespread bewilderment among the authorities.
The film reimagines the story of Jesus' Resurrection from the perspective of a non-believer. Clavius, a high-ranking Roman military officer, and his trusted aide Lucius, are sent to investigate the disappearance of Jesus and silence the rumors of his return, in an effort to prevent a rebellion in Jerusalem.
