Joseph Alberic Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, a talented individual, was born in the charming city of Salisbury, Wiltshire, to Jennifer Anne Mary Alleyne (Lash),a renowned novelist, and Mark Fiennes, a skilled photographer. He is one of six siblings, four of whom are also involved in the arts, with Ralph Fiennes being an acclaimed actor, Martha Fiennes a respected director, Magnus Fiennes a gifted musician, and Sophie Fiennes a successful producer. Joseph's ancestry is a rich blend of English, Irish, and Scottish heritage.
Growing up in the picturesque region of West Cork, Ireland, Joseph was exposed to a vibrant cultural environment. After leaving art school, he began his professional journey by working with the esteemed Young Vic Youth Theatre. He subsequently honed his craft at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Joseph's first professional stage appearance was in the West End production of The Woman In Black, followed by his role in A Month In The Country. He then joined the renowned Royal Shakespeare Company for two seasons, where he had the opportunity to perform in a variety of productions, including Dennis Potter's Son Of Man, Les Enfants Du Paradis, Troilus and Cressida, and Peter Whelan's The Herbal Bed.
