A seemingly innocent birthday gift from a mother to her son unleashes a terrifying evil, as a harmless-looking doll is discovered to be the host of a malevolent spirit - a notorious serial killer seeking vengeance.
A serial killer's soul is transferred into a child's doll, which is then given to a young boy. As the doll, Chucky, manipulates the boy's thoughts and actions, it commits a series of murders, with the adults unaware of the true horror unfolding before their eyes.
