Here is Ed Gale's biography:
Ed Gale left his hometown of Plainwell, Michigan, at the age of 20 with only $41 in his pocket, hitchhiking to California to pursue his dream of becoming a steady working Hollywood actor. He initially auditioned for and won the lead role of Howard the Duck, despite being initially told he was "too tall".
Early in his career, Ed performed many of his own stunts, including being run over by a big rig, flying on wires, fight scenes, and crashing through the windshield of a moving vehicle. He also suffered full-body burns in the first Child's Play movie and while "flying" on wires in Leprechaun 3.
Throughout his career, Ed has appeared in over 130 television shows, films, and commercials, playing a wide range of characters, including Howard in Howard the Duck, Chucky in Child's Play, Birdie the Early Bird in a McDonald's commercial, and Tasha the baby dinosaur in The New Land of the Lost.
Ed has also appeared in popular films such as Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Mom & Dad Save the World, and The Polar Express. Out of costume, he has played notable human roles in TV shows like The District, 3rd Rock from the Sun, and Just Shoot Me.
Some of his most recognizable roles include Lavalle in Bones, Little Prisoner in My Name is Earl, Simon McKay in Baywatch, and the Little Man in O Brother, Where Art Thou?. Ed has had the opportunity to work alongside many big names in Hollywood, including Lea Thompson, Keanu Reeves, Tom Hanks, and George Clooney.
In addition to his work in film and television, Ed has also appeared in numerous television commercials, promoting products such as Burger King, Toys R US, and Progressive Insurance, among many others.
