Nomi Malone, a determined dancer, arrives in Las Vegas with a mysterious past, seeking to make a name for herself while putting her past behind her. She lands a job at the Cheetah Club, a strip joint, and forms a connection with Molly, a costumer for the topless production Goddess at the Stardust. Nomi catches the eye of Goddess' headliner Cristal and entertainment director Zack, and is presented with opportunities to join the Stardust/Goddess family. However, James, a struggling dancer/choreographer, advises Nomi to reconsider her path, seeing Goddess as illegitimate.
