Biography

Danielle Burgio, a triple threat in the entertainment industry, has had a remarkable career transition from a Broadway dancer to a Hollywood stuntwoman and now a successful actress and producer. Born at Andrews Airforce Base, Burgio made her Big Apple debut just two weeks after relocating to New York City, starring in the production of Starlight Express.

Following her successful Broadway run, Burgio relocated to Los Angeles, where she became one of the most sought-after stuntwomen in the industry, appearing in over 100 films and television shows, including fan favorites such as Blade, Batman Forever, and serving as the stunt double for Carrie Ann Moss' iconic character Trinity in the Matrix sequels. Her impressive stunt career led to the publication of her book, "The Stuntwoman's Workout," and an invitation to co-host TBS' "Worst Case Scenario," where she performed some of the most thrilling stunts of her career, including plane-jumping, car-crashing, and skyscraper-dangling. Burgio's daredevil skills were showcased on various television programs, including Entertainment Tonight and Good Morning America.

In addition to her successful stunt career, Burgio has also established herself as a talented actress, appearing in nearly 50 credits, most recently starring as "Soccer Mom" in Zack Snyder's cult classic film Army of the Dead. The expert martial artist has also explored her creative side behind the camera, writing, directing, and producing two short films, Lucy Falls and Girl Trip, which were screened at festivals across the United States.
