William Shockley is a multifaceted American entertainment professional, boasting a repertoire that spans acting, directing, writing, and producing.
As a partner in Tiki Tane Pictures, a film production company based in Los Angeles and Austin, Texas, Shockley collaborates with Allen Gilmer and Tom Brady to create captivating cinematic experiences. Tiki Tane is represented by UTA Independent Film Group, and their upcoming film, Long Shadows, a Western directed by Shockley, is set to have a theatrical release in Summer 2025, starring Blaine Maye, Sarah Cortez, Jacqueline Bisset, Dominic Monaghan, and Dermot Mulroney.

Shockley made his directorial debut with the short film, Common Threads, starring Nancy Stafford, a period western set in Tucson, Arizona, 1887. The film won 8 Film Festival Awards, including 'Best Short Film - Family' at the 2017 'IFS Film Festival' in Los Angeles, as well as 6 Awards of Excellence at the 2017 'Best Shorts Awards Competition' in La Jolla, California, and the 2017 Lady's First International Film Festival in Cork, Ireland.
Shockley's early beginnings in the entertainment industry date back to 1986, when he was cast in Robocop by Paul Verhoeven, following a successful audition in Dallas, Texas. This experience prompted him to sell everything and relocate to Los Angeles, where he quickly landed numerous episodic and movie-of-the-week roles.
Subsequently, Shockley was cast in the feature films Howling: Rebirth with Phil Davis, The Adventures of Ford Fairlane with Andrew Dice Clay, and The Joyriders with Martin Landau and Kris Kristofferson, as well as the cult classic, Showgirls, directed by Paul Verhoeven once again.
Shockley has also made significant contributions to television, starring as 'Hank Lawson' in the CBS drama, "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman", for six years, and subsequently being given a development deal by CBS to star in his own series, "California", a Dr. Quinn spin-off. He has also appeared in the CBS sitcom, "Bagdad Cafe", alongside Whoopi Goldberg, and the critically acclaimed ABC series, "Good & Evil ", opposite Teri Garr.
