In the movie, a cowboy named Hoppy fakes being an outlaw to avenge his brother's murder by Plunkett. He then robs a train, kills Plunkett, and meets the notorious Lone Wolf, who becomes his next boss. However, Hoppy's quest for revenge takes a surprising turn when he discovers that the one helping him catch outlaws, Stoneman, is actually the Lone Wolf himself.
