Network

A former news anchor's explosive revelations about the dark side of the media are sensationalized by a TV network, but they soon discover that they've lost control of the story.

In the 1970s, terrorism dominates nightly news and UBS Television Network undergoes a corporate transformation. Aging news anchor Howard Beale's ratings plummet, leading to his sudden firing. Beale's unexpected response sets off a chain reaction affecting his colleagues Max Schumacher and Diana Christensen, as well as the network's fortunes.
