A misadventurous alien couple, Beldar and Prymatt, from the planet Remulak, crash-land on Earth during a reconnaissance mission, only to find themselves navigating human life and forming unexpected bonds. As they evade detection by immigration authorities and start a family, they begin to appreciate the joys of life on this peculiar planet. However, their peaceful existence is short-lived, as government agents close in on the unusual Conehead family. After their rescue and return to Remulak, Beldar plots his revenge, vowing to one day conquer the planet that has grown on him.
