A botany professor, Parimal Tripathy, is researching in a guest house when the caretaker leaves to care for his ailing grandson. Parimal takes his place, and soon, a group of female students, including Sulekha, a fan of Parimal's, arrive to study. Sulekha and Parimal fall in love and get married, but Parimal becomes jealous when he realizes Sulekha is obsessed with her brother-in-law, Raghav. To deal with this, Parimal decides to disguise himself as Raghav's driver, Pyare Mohan Allahabadi, and, along with Sulekha, pretend to be in love with each other in front of Raghav and his wife.
