Jarrod and his pregnant girlfriend Elaine visit their old friend Terry, a successful entrepreneur, in Los Angeles. Terry offers Jarrod a job and throws a party in his apartment, where his assistant and lover Denise, and friend Ray join them. However, their night takes a turn when they're awoken by strange blue beams of light. Ray becomes entranced by the mysterious force, and the group must fight to escape the alien invasion.
