Children of the Corn: Genesis

Tim and Allie, stranded in the desert, seek refuge in a remote compound. Preacher, a strange and menacing figure, allows them in, but warns them to leave by morning and not explore the area. As night falls, the couple begins to hear eerie screams and cries, which they initially attribute to the wind. However, Allie's curiosity gets the better of her and she discovers a dark secret: the compound is home to a cult that worships a mysterious entity, which may or may not reside in a haunted young boy.
