Diane's early life was marked by her upbringing in the charming town of Elmwood Park, New Jersey, where she was born and raised. Diane's family was a close-knit one, consisting of her parents and her only sibling, Dr. John M. Peterson, who currently resides in Montpelier, Vermont.
After completing her secondary education, Diane decided to pursue her passion for the performing arts by enrolling at the University of Miami, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama. This academic achievement marked the beginning of her journey towards a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Following her graduation, Diane took on a unique role as a Playboy Bunny in Great Gorge, New Jersey, and later in London, England. This stint provided her with valuable experience and exposure in the industry.
Diane's next move was to New York, where she landed an acting role in the popular television series Kojak. It was during her time on set that she witnessed two stuntmen performing a high-octane car chase, which sparked her interest in the world of stunts. This experience had a profound impact on her, and she knew that she had found her true calling.
For the next two years, Diane worked with the Eastcoast Stuntmen's Association in New York, honing her skills and gaining invaluable experience in the stunt industry. After this period, she made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where she would go on to achieve even greater success.
In Los Angeles, Diane became the President of the Stuntwomen's Association of Motion Pictures, a position she held for an impressive seven years. Throughout her career, she has continued to work as both an actress and a stuntwoman, appearing in numerous television shows and films. Despite her many accomplishments, Diane remains dedicated to her craft, always striving to push herself to new heights and take on new challenges.
