Two neighboring families, the D'Souzas and Chaddhas, celebrate Diwali and Christmas together despite their differences. However, their friendship ends when Anjali and Steven elope and get married, causing tension between the two families. Years later, a young man claiming to be their son visits his grandparents, but is initially rejected. Despite this, he eventually wins over their hearts, only to have his true identity revealed just as he's about to gain acceptance from his Jassi mama and Moses chacha.
