Rising star in French cinema, this young actor has made a name for himself in the film industry with three nominations at the César Awards, the highest accolades in French cinema.
Born on June 17, 1986, in Evry, Essonne, this talented individual showed an early interest in comedy, taking acting classes as a schoolboy.
A chance casting at the age of 15 for the lead role in the film "The Devils" (2002) brought him to the attention of audiences and critics alike, earning him a Gold Plaque at the Chicago International Film Festival in 2002.
Since then, he has appeared in over 35 feature films, showcasing his versatility in a wide range of genres.
In 2007, he received his first César nomination for Most Promising Actor for his role in "The Passenger" opposite Julie Depardieu.
His second César nomination, also for Most Promising Actor, was for his performance in "I'm Glad My Mother is Alive" (2009),a film based on a true story.
In 2015, he earned his third César nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Brahim in "Dheepan" (2015),directed by the acclaimed French director Jacques Audiard, which went on to win the Palme d'Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
