Troi Zee's acting career commenced at the tender age of three with The Children's Theatre Company in New York City, marking the beginning of a lifelong passion for the craft.
Subsequent credits include a plethora of notable productions, such as Sesame Street, PBS Kids, Reading Rainbow, Nickelodeon, and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, solidifying her reputation as a talented young performer.
In 2010, Troi took on the role of "Ngana" in the national touring company of Lincoln Center's Tony Award-winning production of South Pacific, a testament to her versatility and range.
The following year, she completed the role of "Maya" in the independent film 1982, directed by Tommy Oliver, alongside legendary actor Ruby Dee and contemporary actor and author Hill Harper, further demonstrating her ability to adapt to diverse roles and genres.
In 2012, Troi launched her career as a singer/songwriter, collaborating with renowned R&B singer and producer Angela Johnson on her debut EP of original music, titled "Brooklyn Girl", showcasing her remarkable vocal talents.
Troi has had the privilege of performing before massive crowds, including twice entertaining more than 5,000 fans at Affinity Health Plan's charitable Easter celebration in New York City, as well as other charitable events hosted by Tuesday's Children and the Make The Grade Foundation, utilizing her platform to give back to her community.
She has also appeared in the acclaimed independent film Advantageous, released in 2015, and has been featured in print and on-line advertisements for the teen fashion brand Prince Street.
Troi Zee is a proud graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Arts in New York City, where she studied voice, and is currently an undergraduate at John Hopkins University.
