Michelle Tomlinson, a talented individual, was born and raised in the picturesque region of Northern New Mexico. During her high school years, she was deeply involved in video productions, which sparked her passion for the creative arts. She then transitioned to the other side of the camera, enrolling in acting classes while attending Eastern New Mexico University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance.
After completing her education, Michelle Tomlinson made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, California, with the goal of refining her craft and launching her acting career. She immersed herself in the Adler Technique, taught by the renowned Arthur Mendoza, and later honed her skills with the Lyndon Technique, a unique booking technique taught by Amy Lyndon.
Michelle Tomlinson's journey has not been without its challenges. As a survivor of Papillary Thyroid Cancer, she has developed a profound appreciation for life and is dedicated to spreading positivity, having fun, working hard, and savoring every moment to the fullest.
Throughout her career, Michelle Tomlinson has received widespread acclaim for her performances in various feature films, including The Cellar Door and Brain Dead, which have premiered at festivals and been released on DVD. She has also appeared in dramatic indie feature films, such as Undercurrent and Officer Down.
In addition to her film work, Michelle Tomlinson has taken on the lead role in the web series "Kung Fu Femmes" and has participated in several short films and plays. Her versatility as an actor has allowed her to tackle a wide range of characters and genres.
As a dedicated coach, Michelle Tomlinson has mentored actors of all ages, abilities, and experience levels, focusing on helping them book their own auditions and develop a deeper understanding of the craft of acting. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of letting the work speak through the actor, rather than getting in their own way.
When she is not acting or coaching, Michelle Tomlinson enjoys producing her own work. She has collaborated with Kimberly Amato on a few webisodes of "The Misadventures of MCT & A" and is set to launch her own web series in January 2014, as well as a short film with Amato in May 2014.
