Born and raised in the sun-kissed city of San Diego, California, it was crystal clear that Sunnie had a penchant for performing from a remarkably young age. With older brothers already established in the industry, she naturally began acting and modeling at the tender age of three. This precocious start was marked by her booking of her very first job for Huggies Pull Ups, a feat that would set the stage for a lifelong passion.
As she continued to hone her craft, Sunnie landed modeling gigs for esteemed brands such as Hanna Andersson, Familiar clothing, and Jakks Pacific, the renowned toy packaging company. Meanwhile, her first acting audition, which took place shortly after her fourth birthday, resulted in the coveted role of Christine Booth in the long-running Fox series, Bones.
Beyond her impressive portfolio, Sunnie is an ardent dancer, having taken her first tap solo at the tender age of three. Following in the footsteps of her sister, she continues to dance and compete in various styles, including jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. Her love for dance is evident in her enthusiasm for taking classes at her studio, traveling to compete, take classes, and attend conventions.
Born into a family of four children, Sunnie is the youngest sibling, with two older brothers and a sister. Her family's unwavering support and encouragement have undoubtedly played a significant role in nurturing her talent and passion for the performing arts.
