Biography

Steve's most recent feature film was the psychological thriller 'Stalker', which starred Saturn Award-nominated actress Sophie Skelton, known for her role in the popular TV series Outlander, alongside Welsh Bafta-winning actor Stuart Brennan, who has appeared in films such as Risen and Kingslayer, and wrestling legend Bret 'The Hitman' Hart, a renowned figure in the WWE.

The film was executive produced by Gareth Wiley, a Golden Globe-winning producer who has worked on films like Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona, and produced by Stronghold, a production company that has been involved in a number of projects. The screenplay was written by Chris Watt, who has also worked on films like The Mire and Bruise, and the cinematography was handled by Simon Stolland, a director of photography who has worked on films like Sumotherhood and Blue Story.

'Stalker' had its world premiere at The Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square, London, as part of the Frightfest 2022 film festival and was later released in the UK on DVD and VOD in October 2022 by Kaleidoscope Film Distribution. Steve's second feature film, 'Convergence', was a self-funded project that was filmed over the course of 30 days in February and April 2018. The film starred Jeremy Theobald, who has appeared in films like Tenet, Batman Begins, and Following, and Nicolette McKeown, who has appeared in films like Mercy Falls and Lost at Christmas.

'Convergence' premiered at Cineworld in Leicester Square in May 2019, as part of the British Independent Film Festival, where it won the award for Best Feature Film. The film also received nominations for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Cinematography. 'Convergence' went on to play at numerous film festivals around the world, picking up over 20 awards and nominations.

The film's awards and nominations concluded at the Cardiff International Film Festival in October 2019, where it won the award for Best Feature Film. 'Convergence' had a limited seven-day theatrical release at Cineworld in Glasgow in November 2019 and was later released on Amazon Prime in May 2020.
