I spent my formative years in the quaint town of Grass Valley, where I would often indulge in skateboarding and exploratory adventures with my friends, uncovering the hidden gems of the surrounding areas. It was during this time that my fascination with filmmaking began to take shape, sparked by the acquisition of my mother's 480p digital camera. From that moment on, I became consumed by creating skate videos, honing my skills and nurturing my passion.
As the years progressed, I found myself drawn to more ambitious projects, seeking creative freedom and personal fulfillment that skate videos could no longer provide. I pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Film Production at Biola University, graduating in the fall of 2018.
From 2017 to 2021, I dedicated myself to writing and directing my first feature film, Space Waves, on a shoestring budget. The driving force behind this massive undertaking was my unwavering conviction in the story I was telling. I wrote the movie I wanted to see, within the parameters of the narrative I needed to convey.
Throughout my journey, I have consistently challenged myself to transform pain into purpose, using film as a medium to demonstrate this. By confronting personal trauma and finding ways to redeem pain, I aim to inspire others to find the light. This is the essence of my life's work.
