Sonja O'Hara is a multi-talented Canadian artist who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry as a writer, director, and actor. Represented by WME and The Gotham Group, she has received numerous accolades for her work, including being named one of the "10 Filmmakers To Watch" by Independent Magazine.
As a director, Sonja has made a significant impact with her feature film "Root Letter", an adaptation of the popular Japanese video game, written by Tribeca Film Festival Narrative Prize winner David Ebeltoft. The film is set to be released in 2021.
In addition to her work as a director, Sonja has also made a name for herself as a writer and actor. She wrote, directed, and starred in the critically acclaimed series "Doomsday" (Amazon),which won Best Series at ITVFest. She was also a Streamy Nominee for "Best Indie Series" and won the "Best Director" award out of 4000 submissions at The New York Television Festival.
