Sabrina Matthews is a renowned openly lesbian comic who masterfully conveys the absurdity of everyday life through her witty anecdotal style. Her unique brand of comedy has been praised for its infectious quality, capable of eliciting big laughs from both gay and straight audiences alike.
As a seasoned performer, Sabrina regularly appears at various venues around the world, including comedy clubs, colleges, cruises, and festivals. Her impressive credits include her own half-hour comedy special, "Comedy Central Presents Sabrina Matthews", as well as a starring role in the hit documentary "Laughing Matters...More!", an appearance on "Comics Unleashed", and a semi-finalist spot on NBC's "Last Comic Standing".
Sabrina's television acting debut was a memorable one, as she appeared on "America's Most Wanted". She has since moved on to appear in "The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman" alongside Laura Kightlinger, as well as in Margaret Cho's 2007 film release, "Bam Bam and Celeste".
Sabrina began her comedy career in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she honed her craft amidst the vibrant comedy scene. After surviving a decade in Los Angeles, where she developed a penchant for doughnut shops and dude-speak, Sabrina relocated to the east coast. When not performing, she enjoys scuba diving, teaching her dog not to eat furniture, engaging in her favorite game (Point and Laugh),and generally doing anything else to avoid rifling through the heap of papers teetering on her desk in search of tiny, hastily scribbled comedy notes.
