Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Ray's passion for acting was ignited at an early age when he landed the lead role in his high school's theater production of "Grease". This initial success led him to graduate from the esteemed John Abbott theater program, where he further honed his craft by taking on numerous leading roles.
Ray's breakthrough in the film industry came when he was cast as part of the ensemble in "Obstruction of Justice", playing a young thief framed for murder. This marked the beginning of his journey as a professional actor, and he soon made the decision to relocate to Vancouver, British Columbia, to pursue his burgeoning career in film and television.
Over the course of several years, Ray built an impressive resume, both in front of and behind the camera. His film credits include Paramount Pictures' "The Core", where he shared the screen with Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank, as well as "Are We There Yet" alongside Ice Cube, and "I Spy" with Owen Wilson and Eddie Murphy.
In addition to his work in film, Ray also made a name for himself on television, earning praise for his guest-starring role alongside Oscar-nominated actor David Paymer in "Night Visions". He also had recurring roles on the critically acclaimed "Da Vinci's Inquest" and "iZombie", as well as making guest appearances on popular shows such as "Arrow" and "Rookie Blue".
Ray's breakthrough in Los Angeles came when he was cast alongside Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Tilly in the Sundance hit "Relax... it's just sex". He then went on to book recurring roles in the FOX series "Saints and Sinners" and "Desire", as well as the lead role in one of MTV's first-ever web series, "Connected".
Most recently, Ray starred in the movie "My Ex Ex", which is set to be released theatrically in the United States, followed by a wide release on various video-on-demand platforms, including Netflix.
When he's not busy working in the entertainment industry, Ray's love of sports takes center stage, both as a performer and as a fan. He is a die-hard supporter of the Montreal Canadiens, often shouting "Go Habs, Go!"
