Rachel Marcus has had a cinematic experience that could only be described as extraordinary. Just 24 hours after stepping off the camp bus, she landed her first-ever audition and secured the lead role in "Booky and the Secret Santa". This remarkable feat was made even more special by the opportunity to share the screen with the illustrious Megan Follows, a treasured Canadian talent.
The role of "Booky" was seemingly written with Rachel in mind, as their shared positive and determined personalities suggest. Following the success of "Booky and the Secret Santa", Rachel's second film, "Booky's Crush", premiered in February 2009 to widespread critical acclaim.
In addition to her work in "Booky and the Secret Santa" and "Booky's Crush", Rachel has appeared in a variety of other projects, including "The Dogfather", "Vacation with Derek", "The Devil's Teardrop", and the animated series "Stella & Sam". Her experience voicing Stella in the latter earned her nominations for both a Gemini Award and an Actra Award.
Rachel's passion for acting is rivalled only by her love of dance, which she studies full-time and thoroughly enjoys.
