Phil's life journey began in St Helens, Merseyside, England, where he spent his formative years.

Before embarking on a career in the entertainment industry, Phil was an exceptional athlete, showcasing his skills in the sport of Rugby League. He played for several esteemed teams, including Blackbrook, Lancashire, St Helens, and Warrington, leaving an indelible mark on the sport.

Phil's paternal lineage also played a significant role in his life, as his father, Alan, was a professional rugby player for St Helens and Warrington Rugby League Clubs, instilling in Phil a deep appreciation for the sport.

However, Phil's athletic career was cut short due to an unfortunate injury sustained during a tackle at the tender age of 19. This life-altering event led Phil to pivot and explore a new passion - acting.
