Born in Rochester, New York in 1958, Peter's early life was marked by a series of significant events that would shape his future. In 1968, his family relocated to Hollywood, Florida, where he spent the majority of his childhood and teenage years honing his skills on the golf course, even entertaining the idea of playing professionally.
However, it was during his teenage years that Peter's attention was diverted from golf to the world of fashion. In 1979, he began working as a print model in Miami, traveling to New York and Milan, Italy, where he worked with renowned photographers and designers.
Throughout his career, Peter has worked on numerous advertising campaigns, editorial layouts, and catalog shoots across Europe, Central America, and the United States. His work has been featured in esteemed publications such as Luomo Vogue, Vogue Italia, W, Harper's Bazaar, and GQ, as well as countless daily newspapers.
In addition to his work in fashion, Peter has also had a successful career in television, joining the Screen Actors Guild in 1983 and appearing in numerous non-union commercials before making the transition to union television commercials. His first union commercial was for American Express travelers cheques, followed by an avant-garde Palmolive gold soap commercial shot at the pink house in Miami, which went national and ran for several years.
In 1986, Peter's life took a dramatic turn when he met his wife, Tamina, with whom he has two children, Peter, a photo journalist, and Alysha, a real estate agent and model. A proud member of SAG/AFTRA since 1983, Peter made a full return to the business in January 2013, dedicating himself to intensive training and preparation.
Between 2013 and 2014, Peter attended every workshop he could find, taking advantage of SAG's online program and workshops with industry experts Lori Wyman, Meg Morman, and Dee Miller. He credits an intensive workshop attended in the spring of 2014 given by actor Ray Forchion as life-changing.
Throughout his career, Peter has been guided by a philosophy of patience and persistence, and he remains committed to his craft, always striving to improve and grow as an artist.
