Patrick Devaney is a multifaceted creative force, boasting a diverse array of talents that have garnered him recognition in the realms of writing, acting, filmmaking, and editing. His primary focus lies in the sci-fi genre, as well as crime-based television programs. Notably, he is the mastermind behind "Zombie Hunters: City of the Dead", the world's first zombie-based broadcast television program.
Born and raised in the vibrant city of New York, Patrick founded Devarez Films, LLC, in 2008 to oversee the business aspects of ZH. The company has since collaborated with Mass Grave Pictures since 2009.
Patrick's performance career began on the 1980s club circuit as a musician, performing at legendary venues such as CBGB. He then transitioned to the stage, scoring the off-Broadway play "Shadow Trilogy" in 1995. Following this, he shifted his focus to visual arts, exploring painting, sculpture, and writing. It was in 2005 that he started working on what would eventually become the Zombie Hunters program.
To date, Patrick has appeared in numerous films, both in leading and supporting roles, and has written over fifty screenplays. He has also acted in various capacities on dozens of television programs. Additionally, he has released "Aemorraghe", a short film based on the comic of the same name by the artist known as Caza, and has created the science-fantasy films "Impervia" and "Identity Check". Moreover, he wrote and directed the webseries "Visitation", which was shot with each actor in isolation during the global pandemic, and is one of the lead actors in the new crime thriller "Follower".
Patrick is consistently involved in a wide range of independent films and is currently in pre-production for three of his latest scripts: "Dad's New Roommate", "Wavelet", and "New Zero".
