The German actress, boasting Iranian roots, has garnered widespread recognition for her portrayal of a tough police inspector in the ARD-TV series, THE CROATIAN CRIME THRILLER.
As a student, she discovered her passion for acting, which ultimately led to her acceptance into the highly selective Academy for Music and Theater in Rostock. Her stage debut as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet" earned her the prestigious Karl Heinz Walther Award, marking the beginning of her impressive career.
For many years, the stage remained her preferred domain, although she received widespread acclaim for her roles in numerous films and television productions during that time. Despite her success, she continued to prioritize her stage work.
In recent years, she has expanded her creative pursuits by teaching acting classes at the Rostock Academy, in addition to actively pursuing her career as an actress. She finds that working with young drama students has a profound impact on her own work, stating, "Working with young drama students truly enhances my own work as an actress!"
Her upcoming project includes a starring role in Shirin Neshat's film, LOOKING FOR OUM KULTHUM, which is slated for international release in the spring of 2018.
