Michael Robertson is a renowned Australian film producer, whose impressive portfolio includes the production of several genre films that have garnered a devoted cult following worldwide.
As a graduate of the University of New South Wales and the University of Southern California film school, Michael has honed his skills in the industry, successfully directing TV commercials that have earned prestigious awards, including the Cannes Lion, CLIO, Mobius, and NY Festivals Awards.
In addition to his commercial directing work, Michael has also ventured into feature film production, directing the Australian movies "The Best of Friends", "Going Sane", and "Back of Beyond".
As a member of ACE Producers, a network of esteemed producers based in Amsterdam, Michael has leveraged his connections to form the development and production company, Thrills & Spills, in partnership with Neal Kingston.
With a focus on producing high-quality Australian genre films, Thrills & Spills has successfully brought three feature films to the big screen: "Black Water: Abyss" (2020),"Great White" (2021),and most recently, "The Reef: Stalked" (2022).
