Matthew D'Arcy, an American actor, embarked on an extraordinary journey after graduating from Drexel University. He pursued the Department of State's Critical Language Scholarship and Fulbright Fellowship, which led him to South Korea.
During his two-year stay in South Korea, Matthew seamlessly transitioned into the Korean entertainment industry, making his mark with his film debut in Battle for Incheon: Operation Chromite (2016). He worked alongside Director John H. Lee and Liam Neeson, further solidifying his passion for acting.
Matthew's impressive repertoire in South Korea includes appearances on TVN - Saturday Night Live Korea (2011),KBS 'Good Morning' - Haphazard Neighborhood Travel, web and TV commercials, as well as notable roles in the Korean drama and KPOP sectors.
In 2016, Matthew returned to the United States and landed a lead role in Kai Liang's Philadelphia-based student short 'The Bandaged Heart.' He subsequently secured a featured role in Neil Burger's The Upside (2017).
Matthew's subsequent move was a supporting role in the upcoming Korean tap-dancing drama Swing Kids (2018),directed by Kang Hyoung-chul, during the latter half of 2017.
