Vadik, a seasoned director with over two decades of experience in Chicago's theatrical scene, made his feature film debut with "The Thirsting", following the success of his stage adaptation of Shakespeare's Richard III, which was named as "One of the top 10 Must Sees" for the 2004 Theater season in Chicago by Windy City Times.
Notably, his work has drawn comparisons to esteemed directors Sir Peter Brooks of the Royal Shakespeare Company of London and Thomas Falls, Artistic Director of Chicago's Goodman Theater, as favorably described by the Chicago Tribune.
Initially recognized as one of America's "aspiring under-ground writers" in the early 1990s, his poetry was featured on 60 Minutes, and he has since had several original stage plays produced, including "Closures", "American Manhood - Boxed In and Strung Out", and "Old Soldiers Don't Like Rain".
In addition to his stage work, Vadik has also accumulated a range of commercial and music video credits, including the European techno band "Scooter"'s "Hello" and numerous national television advertising spots. He has won numerous awards for directing, producing, and writing feature films.
Currently, Vadik focuses on writing, directing, producing, and practicing entertainment law from his home in Chicago.
Throughout his career, he has received his B.A. in Performance Studies and his M.A. in Theatre/Arts Marketing and Management from Northwestern University/Kellogg School of Management, as well as his J.D. from Loyola University, Chicago.
