Marc was born in South Africa, but he spent most of his childhood in Sydney, Australia. After graduating from the UNSW College of Fine Arts, he quickly established himself as a talented filmmaker, creating numerous award-winning shorts, music videos, and public service announcements. His early works, including "Death's Requiem," "Dark Horse," and "A Perfect Circle," earned accolades at prestigious film festivals such as St. Kilda, Method Fest, Eerie Horror Film Festival, and Shriekfest.
Marc's commercial directing career has been marked by significant campaigns for well-known brands like Amnesty International, Sony, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, and Telstra. He has also directed music videos for prominent record labels like Warner, EMI, Universal, and Sony.
In 2016, Marc made his feature film debut as writer-director with "Terminus," which was released worldwide by Vertical Entertainment. His latest feature film, "Viper," is a sci-fi thriller starring Peter Facinelli, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Stephen Dorff, and Neal McDonough, and is set to be released in late 2024. Marc is also working on "The Weight Of Darkness," a new feature film starring Angus McFadyen, Jaime King, Doug Jones, and Corbin Bernsen.
In addition to his work as a writer-director, Marc is an executive producer on several projects, including "Ice Fall," "Switzerland," and "The Room Below." He has also co-written the screenplay for the 2018 action film "In Like Flynn" and the Netflix Original series "Sweet River." Marc is currently writer and producer on the TV series "Harlem 58" for Toil Films and Jamie Foxx's Foxxhole Productions, and his screenplay for the series was a finalist in the 2020 Final Draft Big Break Competition.
