Katelyn Tarver is a talented American actress and singer, born on November 2, 1989, in Glennville, Georgia, U.S. She is the youngest of three children to Kim Tarver and Kenny Tarver, with an elder brother, Drew Tarver, and a sister, Amanda Tarver. Drew, her brother, is also an American actor and comedian.
During her school days, Tarver was an active cheerleader. She began her music career by participating in the 2003 American reality television singing competition series American Juniors, where she reached the top 10 but failed to secure a spot in the five-member band.
In 2005, Tarver released her debut album Wonderfully Crazy, which featured songs written and produced by Mattias Gustafsson and Kevin Savigar, as well as the title track written by Christian recording artist Scott Krippayne.
In 2011, Tarver launched her EP A Little More Free, produced by Matt Grabe. She went on to open for Honor Society in their June-July 2011 "Wherever You Are" tour and toured with The Cab and Parachute during the summer of 2012.
Tarver co-wrote the single "Crazy Stupid Love" with Cheryl and Tinie Tempah in 2014. She released the singles "Nobody Like You" and "Weekend Millionaires" via Soundcloud in 2015. On July 28, 2016, she re-released "Weekend Millionaires" on Spotify, iTunes, and other digital retailers. In October 2016, she released her new single "What Do We Know Now" and followed it up with another track titled "Hate To Tell You" a month later.
Tarver has also featured on the song "You" by Lost Kings and released a cover of Jeremih's "Planez". On March 10, 2017, she released her second EP, Tired Eyes. Additionally, she featured in the music video for Mitchel Musso's single "The In-Crowd" and performed a duet of "Us Against The World" with him.
As an actress, Tarver is best known for her roles in the television series Big Time Rush (2009),No Ordinary Family (2010),and The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008).
