Joey Gaydos Jr. was born on April 18, 1991, marking the beginning of a remarkable musical journey. Although he started playing guitar at the tender age of three, it wasn't until around eight years later that he reconnected with his passion for music.
In 2002, Joey attended a week-long music camp in Ann Arbor, Michigan, known as Dayjams. During his time at the camp, he collaborated with his bandmates to create a music video. The video caught the attention of a representative, who subsequently contacted Joey to express interest in him auditioning for the role of a 10-year-old guitar player in the upcoming film 'School of Rock'.
Joey's family and he traveled to Chicago for the casting call, where they left a lasting impression. A few weeks later, Joey received an invitation to meet the producer, writer, and director of the movie in California. Following this meeting, Joey was thrilled to receive the news that he had secured the part of Zack in 'School of Rock'.
Since the movie's release, Joey has attended numerous premieres across Asia, Europe, and Australia. In December 2004, Joey released his self-titled album 'Joey Gaydos Jr.', marking a significant milestone in his musical career.
