Jaclyn Ngan

Jackie, a Los Angeles native, embarked on her acting journey at the tender age of seventeen with a pivotal role in the Paramount film Freedom Writers. Her formative years were spent at Fairfax Visual Arts Magnet High School, where she actively participated in various extracurricular programs at the esteemed Greenway Arts Theatre, conveniently located adjacent to Fairfax High School. Within the Greenway community, Jackie began to hone her skills in theatre, poetry, and filmmaking, courtesy of guidance from a mentor who introduced her to an open-casting call for what would eventually become Freedom Writers. Initially, Jackie attended the casting call with a carefree attitude, expecting merely a unique experience, but ultimately, she secured her first acting role, marking the inception of her illustrious career.
